Project Title: Lignocellulosic Pre-treatment using acid-base treatment

Day1

1. Calculate w/v% of ashes from plucked branches to get the minimum level for pH 11.
2. Ashes is weighed by using electronic balance.
3. pH is determined with pH meter. To use pH meter, the equipment must be calibrated with two standard buffers. Both glass probe and reference electrode are rinsed with distilled water.
4. All data is collected for standard curve.
